2Corinthians 1:21 “Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God.” Notice this verse says “has anointed”, past tense. Today, there is much teaching about the anointing of the Spirit of God. People teach that you need an unction to function or when called upon to do the works of Jesus like pray for deaf ears or get people filled with the Spirit or pray or evangelize, we often hear people say “that’s not my anointing.” Preachers even teach to stay in your anointing and not get over into things that you are not anointed to do.
Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith." Jesus told us in John 8:31-32 that "if we continue in his word then we are his disciples indeed and we will know the truth and the truth shall make us free." We have the greatest message and greatest truth that the world has ever seen.
