August 2014 Teaching Letter - Walking in the Power of God

Never measure your spirituality by the amount of miracles that happen through your life. A miracle is designed to change the life of the person that needs a miracle. It is the same with healing. It is not to prove that we are a man or woman of God. We are men and women of God because God says we are. Do not think that miracles are going to get people saved. It is the message of the gospel of grace that saves a soul. We pray for the sick because God wants those people well and He commanded us to do it. It is not to prove who we are or to elevate our ministry.

July 2014 Teaching Article - The Manifestation of His Spirit

1Corinthians 12:7”But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” Since every Christian has been given the Holy Spirit, he has the potential to demonstrate the particular gift which has been given him. In Jesus Christ, God has privileged us to live above the ordinary. Those who want to live on a lower plane and be “ordinary” can do so, but I refuse to be ordinary.

June 2014 Teaching Letter - Meditate the Word

1Corinthians 2:16” …but we have the mind of Christ.” Proverbs 23:7”As a man thinks, so is he.” Romans 8:5”For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” Matt.4:17”From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Jesus’ first message was to repent or the Greek word “metanoia” meaning to change your thoughts. Start thinking kingdom. If you can change your thoughts you will be focused on the kingdom.

March 2014 Teaching Letter - Victory Through Redemption

1Corinthians 15:57-58 Amplified ”But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory (making us conquerors) through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord), knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile (it is never wasted or to no purpose.)” We are made to win. Victory is a redemptive blessing paid for in our behalf and in our name because of what Jesus accomplished for us.
