“And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost…” Matthew 28:18-20. The NKJV and most new translations say to go and “make disciples” of all nations. A disciple is one who follows the teaching, the training and the mode of life of another. In our case it’s Jesus. A disciple is a disciplined one. Discipline is defined as doing what needs to be done when it ought to be done whether you like it or not.
