September 2015 Teaching Letter - How God's Divine Power Works
Proverbs 18:21; Deut.30:19; Isa. 55:11
God's Word, conceived in your heart and spoken out of your mouth will get the same results that God gets when he speaks His Word. Mark 11:23 "For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto the mountain, be removed and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he says will come to pass; he will have whatever he says.” This is what happened to us when we were born-again. Romans 10:9-10. 1 Peter 1:23 “Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.” John 3:5 “Except one is born of water and of spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” What is the water? Ephesians 5:26 “That he might sanctify and cleanse her (the church) with the washing of water by the word.” The Word of God implanted in our heart caused us to become a new creation that never existed before. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Matthew 8:16 “When evening had come, they brought to him many who were demon possessed. And he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.” Notice-with a word! Not by finding the secret sin, the root cause, the name of the leading demon, but with a word-Go! Leave! John 5:31-39 is what I like to call “The High Court of Heaven”. Please read this and ask God for revelation. Every day you're on trial. The devil is the prosecuting attorney. Jesus is the counsel for the defense. The Holy Spirit is the witness. God the Father is the judge. And, your case has already been judged in your favor.
In Mark 11:11-14, 22-23, we have the story of Jesus cursing the fig tree. I literally did this. Not just to the mountain, but those things, that is, everything you say, believing, will come to pass. It is not bombarding the gates of heaven by praying over and over. First of all, heavens gates are open. It is not yelling and battling in spiritual warfare. Satan’s defeat was accomplished by Jesus at Calvary. Hebrews 4:14 "Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” Jeremiah 23:29 "Is not my word like a fire? And like a hammer that breaks the rocks in pieces?" Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” Notice it says to believe in your heart that you have received. If you believed that you have received when you pray, then why keep praying and asking if you already have what you say and believed that you received?
How does God’s divine power work? How does the God-kind of faith work? Look at Abraham in Romans 4:16-21. After 25 years and not seeing any change, and against all hope, he believed in hope. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but he grew strong in faith – giving glory to God! Why? Because he was fully persuaded that what God had promised, God would perform! 2Corinthians 4:18” While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen our temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Hebrews 11:3 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” In Mark 5:39, when Jesus told Jairus that his daughter was not dead but only sleeping, was he lying? No, he was calling those things that be not as though they were. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that God has provided all things, now, in this present time, that pertain to life and godliness by His divine power through the knowledge of him, or we could say, the knowledge of how His divine power works, and that is by speaking Gods Word in faith. There are three things necessary in every move of God. They are the Word, faith, and the person in power of the Holy Spirit. What does the word say? Believe the word. Act on the word. Speak it in faith. Then the Holy Spirit goes into action and causes the Word to come to pass.
