February 2015 Teaching Letter - Victorious Walking In The Spirit
Ephesians 3: 16-19”That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.” John 7:37-39 speaks of rivers of living water out of our innermost beings. Father God wants to flood and fill our innermost being with Himself.
Colossians 1:27”Christ in you.” Galatians 4:19”Christ formed in you.” Romans 8:29”conformed to His image.” 2Corinthians 3:18”Changed from glory to glory into the same image.” Hebrews 9:3-8 speaks of the Old Testament tabernacle and the way into the Holiest of all. Did Jesus open the veil? Is the way into the Holiest now open for us all? The tabernacle today is the body of man. What is God interested in? The inner man. What does He want to do? Flood it with Himself. Why? Because He wants to do something on this earth through that tabernacle and show His glory.
Hebrews 9:10-14, the whole Old Testament tabernacle was external. As long as people recognize the former, the new will not come to order. Many people are trying to get things on the outside taken care of, but God is interested in the inside so that from within He can take care of the outside. The heart, the inner man, is the place where God wants to establish His throne. Isaiah 66:1-the heavens are God’s throne. Earth is his footstool. We are in heavenly places and heavenly places are in us. Ephesians 2:6”And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Hebrews 9:10-11, the Old Testament tabernacle, was only for a time, until God would begin with the inner man.
People struggle with habits, attitudes, or works of the flesh. They struggle with external things. They try not to do it, or do it again. Don’t touch, don’t go, don’t think. Did they get it right? For a time they did, but it will come again if we don’t live out of the inner man. God does not do well in man-made temples. He dwells in us. He dwells in human tabernacles of flesh. What is the place of God’s rest? It is a group of people. It is Zion, It is the church. It is the hearts of men. Why look for God to bless us externally instead of from our innermost being? Where does healing come from? How are the sick healed? Why lay hands on people? Why say-look on us? The answer is because the rivers flow from within. Why do we struggle with miracles and results? The answer is because we are still trying to get it from the outside. How do we know that? Listen to the way people pray for the sick. They scream to get devils out. They entreat God by crying out for Him to come and prove Himself.
Ezekiel 47 tells us where the rivers flow from. They flow from the temple. Who is the temple? We are. What is the door to the temple? Our mouth. We try our best to get rid of the works of the flesh instead of walking in the Spirit. There will come a generation to realize that we are Zion. We are the habitation of Almighty God. Hebrews 12:22-24” But you are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly, and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just man-made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.”
