Testimony - Pastor A. Freeman, Host - Liberia, West Africa - April 22- May 26th 2014

Report on the visit of Pastor Joseph and Elsa Funaro to Liberia, West Africa.

April 22 – May 6th

Series of Activities were organized during this visit:
I. The mission activities started with our Midweek Service on Wednesday April 23rd where Pastor Joseph boldly ministered the Word, all those who attended were encouraged. The sick were prayer for, all those who came out for prayer were healed that night.

II. The first Pastors and church workers seminar was held at the Higher Ground Bible Church Int’l. The seminar was attended by several pastors. Pastor Joseph shared on the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. About ten (10) pastors receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues; while few persons were healed.

III. On April 27th, we visited one of the branches of our church, Higher Ground Bible Church Int’l, Moses Ross Town Branch, Margibi County. The distance is about three hours away from home. Our car tire had problem along the way, it was worked out and we went. In that Sunday Worship service, the Gospel was preached with simplicity. About fifteen (15) people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and more than twenty (20) people were instantly healed.

IV. On April 28, a Seminar was held for Pastors and church workers; in Wruputa, Bong County, about four (4) hours drive from home. The training session was well attended and the people gladly received the Word. Many people receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and about thirty (30) people were instantly healed.

V. From April 29-30th, the following activities were a held at the Life changing Ministries of Jesus Christ: Church workers Seminar, Youth Conference, and two evening services. All of them were well attended. About 20 people were healed while several people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The people were greatly blessed by Pastor Joe’s Ministration as the Holy Spirit used him.

VI. At the Jubilee Praise and Worship Center in Unification Town, a pastors Seminar was held on May 1st and one (1) evening service on the 2nd. These meetings were awesome; the glory of God was seen. All kinds of sicknesses and diseases were healed instantly. Many, including Pastors also received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The pastors were so excited and requested that Pastor Joe should come back again.

VII. Several pastors attended the pastors Seminar in Kakata, Margibi County. Pastor Joe shared strongly on the Gospel of Grace and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. At the end of his teaching, several pastors received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many other Signs and wonders including, salvation and healings were done by the Holy Spirit.

VIII. On the Last Sunday of their stay in Liberia, which was on May 4th, Pastor Joe Ministered at our church, the Host Church – Higher Ground Bible Church Int’l. He shared powerfully on the Holy Spirit. As usual, the power of the Holy Spirit engulfed the entire Service. Several people were healed instantly and many of our ministers received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit; speaking loudly in tongues.

IX. The final meeting was held at the school of Ministry in Bernard Farm. The Final Message was a strong Word. The Students were greatly blessed as pastor Joe taught on the Gospel of Grace and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. You could see the joy of true freedom on their faces. Few pastors were healed while many receive the Baptism of the Holy, though few questions erupted later.

X. What amazes me the most is that everywhere we went, after the message, Pastor Joe usually ask those who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to pray for the sick. In every case, the power of the Holy Spirit flow through the people and the sick were healed. God can use any body.
